  1. Protein – This is the most important part of the diet for removing heavy metals. Your body’s detox systems must have sufficient protein to function.  The best sources are going to be fish, pastured or wild animals and powdered proteins like pea or beef that are clean and free of toxins.
  2. Fiber – Not just any fiber will do. I want you to do as your mother once instructed you and eat your veggies.  Vegetables contain fiber that is needed to find up the heavy metals and excrete them.  And here is a “Pro Tip” for you.  Don’t limit yourself to a vegetable or two.  I said veggies, meaning as many as you can eat.  The more options to choose from the better.
